Our Master Crafstman will repair or restore your museum or collection pieces that have been damaged or deteriorated.

How It Works

  • 1

    Evaluate

Our master craftsman will carefully evaluate your piece in order to propose a restoration plan and Scope of Work Proposal. Photos may be submitted, or an appointment can be made to bring the piece to our facility for assessment.

  • 2

    Schedule

HWT will schedule your project upon your agreement to the Scope of Work Proposal based on the evaluation, your Proof of Ownership Form, and the down-payment for the services agreed to.

  • 3

    Send

All projects are performed at our facility. Museum staff and collection curators will be responsible for the safe shipping and/or delivery of objects to be restored. We will be happy to offer our assistance and advice on these matters and ship empty cases to your location.

  • 4

    Restore & Return

Our Master Crafstman will perform the services agreed upon to preserve and improve your artifact or relic. Upon completing the work required, HWT will ship your restored piece back to you.

Our Most Recent Work

1883 10 Gauge Baker Shotgun

This rare shotgun was unidentifiable upon recovery due to rust, paint, and dirt. The stock and foregrip were repaired while all metal components were treated for rust removal. Due to the age of the gun and the coiled steel barrel, it is no longer operational but is in excellent museum condition.

Original Replica

1938 Ole Fahlin D 371 48

This 76" Fahlin is an exact replica of the Ole Fahlin D 371 48 models from 1938, during the Golden Years of aviation. Our museum-grade replica includes gold tips and rivets in order to perfectly match the features found on the original Ole Fahlin. This particular replica is available for purchase through Golden Age Propellers.
